Earlier this year we met with Paralympian swimmer Robin Surgeoner who took notes on our thoughts about a song for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
He came back with a song called Jubilation and we have had a lovely summer performing it in various places, including Market Square, Booker Park School and a retirement home in Hughenden Valley.
We were there when the Commonwealth Baton came to the Guttmann Stadium. Again we had the opportunity to share our song Jubilation
We actually sang on the place where the first wheelchair sports took place, on the grass under the trees, on Stadium Approach. Singing in the Waterside Theatre
was an experience I won’t forget and on 28th August we will be singing at the Proms in the Park. More about that in the Nov/Dec issue.
If you are an adult with special needs who likes to act and singthen come and join us!
