This summer I have been learning about paradigms. This is a fancy name for the habits and attitudes we learn as children. One of mine is I procrastinate. I’m seeing that I do this in virtually everything. David has complained for years about this, but I’ve only recently seen it in me. Can I change it? I believe so, I will
give it my best shot.
David is also engaged in the process of changing his. For years he has known his is about being not good enough and he hasn’t seen how to change it. Recently we
watched a Bob Proctor video where he explained there are only two known ways to change a paradigm, a deep, emotional experience, often traumatic, or spaced
repetition. The latter is how we learn most things anyway.
On the subject of procrastination, by the time you get this I should be working on the November issue. I know what my deadline is, will I keep it?
