This is the last instalment of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? because I’ve seen how my thinking is preventing me from being one.
Instead I’m replacing it with a blog www.handsonthinking.uk because there’s more opportunity to write, I’ll reach more people and there has been a shift in my thinking which I’ve been looking for ever since I was a child.
The change isn’t complete yet but the charge in the wrong direction is slowing. Shortly it will stop enabling me to reverse the direction of travel towards where and who I want to be.
What caused the change? I don’t really know. I know one has to be looking sincerely for it. This means being prepared to do whatever is necessary. It includes asking some uncomfortable questions of oneself and facing the answers squarely. It does require brutal honesty with yourself and possibly others. These questions include:
What do you really want?
What is holding you back?
Who and what do you really want to be?
Are you willing to pay the price?
What is the price? The price – for me – is to accept responsibility for who I am and who I want to be. It includes learning to relax my body, eat healthily, exercise consistently and maintain my focus and intention on what I really want. For me this is a big deal because part of me doesn’t want to be responsible.
Intentionally I will have a page here in future issues entitled Hands on Thinking where I can include extracts from my posts on www.handsonthinking.uk. Thank you for reading and I look forward to sharing with you more of what I learn.
