Spring time, a beautiful time of the year when everything seems to becoming to life. I have added some photographs on page 13 as it seemed to
me that the bulbs were coming through early so I took a few photographs and watched their progress.

The daffodils on the Tring Road roundabout by Tesco are usually the fi rst ones to fl ower in Aylesbury. Wonder why that is?

At the time of writing we are still in lockdown but the good news is that we’ve got two new shops open in Aylesbury, AJ Foods in the High Street selling a wide range of cosmopolitan foods and Fruity Tooty, from the shop in Pebble Lane specialising in fruit and veg, has opened another shop where Staples used to be, next to Vale Park. Plenty of free customer parking too.

Health professionals and politicians are waiting to see the effects of the vaccines that are being administered up and down the country. Currently the news is positive with a decrease almost across the board.

What I miss most is not being able to see my family and friends except on FaceTime or Zoom. I also miss not having my hair cut regularly, having my corns and calluses trimmed and our Saturday afternoon meetings with I HAVT.
