Happy New Year and what will this year bring? Last year broke many records in many ways, the changes in the weather for one and the Covid-19
pandemic is another. I don’t know about you but I have found it difficult to understand which rules were “must do” and which were “nice to do”. Social
distancing. Face masks. Washing hands was fine, because we should bedoing that anyway. Rule of 6. Three households.

Now that Christmas has been and gone, how did you celebrate this special time of the year? Writing before Christmas we are hoping that our younger daughter who lives in sheltered accommodation will be able to spend Christmas day with us. I doubt that we will see our other children or grandchildren in person, but we do have such marvellous technology now that enables us to keep in touch.

Before we start the New Year, we will look at what we achieved last year with a group of friends and what we wanted to achieve and didn’t. We look at what stopped us from achieving what we wanted to and draw a line underneath it. Start the new year with a clean sheet and create your dream in 2021.
